About the Role:

The Training & Development Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing training and development programs to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance. This role collaborates with department heads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure all training initiatives align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs across departments through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
  • Develop and implement training programs and e-learning modules.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to create accurate and effective training content.
  • Develop interactive and visually engaging presentations and LMS content to enhance learning and participation.
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, venues, and materials.
  • Maintain training records, track employee progress, and provide reports to management.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all training activities.
  • Support employee onboarding and induction programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in an international company is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Proficient in English, both speaking and comprehension. Ability to understand and communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a global team.
