Construction Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities :

A. Project Planning

- Assist the Project Manager in preparing the project schedule (time schedule) and resource planning (manpower, materials, equipment)

- Ensure that all working drawings, technical specifications, and supporting documents are complete before execution

Identify potential technical and non-technical obstacles and develop preventive or corrective measures

B. Field Coordination

- Coordinate work between site teams, foremen, subcontractors, and consultants/clients

- Ensure all construction activities comply with drawings, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards, and established quality requirements

- Communicate project manager's instructions or revisions to the site execution team.

C. Supervision and Control

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress at the construction site

- Control material usage and ensure no waste occurs

- Prepare progress reports and site documentation regularly

- Report any deviations in time, cost, or quality to the Project Manager.

D. Administration and Documentation

- Maintain and archive all technical documents, shop drawings, daily/weekly reports, and work records

- Submit requests for materials, equipment, and manpower based on site requirements

- Assist in verifying work volumes for project claims and progress payments

E. Evaluation and Completion

- Attend project coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes

- Assist in preparing handover documents for clients or supervising consultants

- Evaluate project implementation to identify improvements for future projects.

Qualifications :

- Minimum D3/S1 in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination

- Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and project management principles

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Able to work under pressure and adapt to field conditions
