As Construction Manager at DayOne, you will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of construction activities for one or more data centre projects (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and commissioning). You will ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, to quality standards, and in line with DayOne's sustainability, scalability and operational readiness goals. You will interface with design, procurement, operations, commissioning and external contractors/sub-contractors.

• Lead construction execution from site mobilisation through to handing over the facility for operations.

• Develop, monitor and drive the project schedule; identify critical path items, risks and mitigation actions.

• Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams: ensure contractual scope delivery, quality, safety and productivity.

• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, health & quality standards (DayOne's internal standards + applicable local regulatory requirements).

• Coordinate with design/engineering teams to ensure design intent is realised in construction; review drawings, shop fabrication, site installations, testing and commissioning.

• Manage construction cost control: track budget vs actuals, change orders, cost risks, claims and commercial documentation.

• Oversee quality assurance / inspection programmes; ensure punch-list closure, defect management and handover documentation.

• Work closely with commissioning/operations teams to ensure smooth transition and hand-over, including integrated systems testing (IST), mechanical/electrical/structural verification and performance documentation.

• Liaise with project stakeholders (internal senior management, clients, authorities, consultants) and provide regular progress reports, dashboards and updates.

• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and construction best practices, especially with regard to data centre infrastructure (cooling systems, power systems, modular construction, prefabrication, etc).

• Support sustainability/green building goals: coordinate with ESG teams, ensure building certifications, and incorporate energy-efficient systems (which DayOne pursues) into construction.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience.

• Typically 7-10 years (or more) of construction management experience in large-scale, complex projects (industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, ideally data centres).

• Proven track record managing general contractors, subs and delivering projects on schedule, budget and quality.

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP) systems, structural and civil works—especially in a mission-critical / high-availability facility environment.

• Experience in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera), cost control systems and contract management.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Willingness to travel to project sites (within the region) as needed.
