About the role

As a Sales Engineer HVAC for Midea Electronics Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving sales of Midea's high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. This full-time position is based in Surabaya, East Java, and will involve engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored recommendations to help them find the best HVAC products and services for their requirements.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively prospecting and building relationships with potential clients in the HVAC market
  2. Conducting site surveys and needs assessments to understand customer requirements
  3. Providing technical expertise and recommendations on Midea's HVAC product portfolio
  4. Preparing detailed proposals and quotations for customers
  5. Negotiating contract terms and closing sales
  6. Providing post-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction
  7. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales strategies
  8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a sales engineer or technical sales representative in the HVAC industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers
  4. Problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach
  5. Proficiency in sales strategy, proposal writing, and contract negotiation
  6. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
