Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the overall responsibility of the business unit and ensure profitability (EBIT).
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with consulate officials.
  3. Ensure compliance with organizational processes and ISO standards.
  4. Manage team efficiency and productivity to meet objectives.
  5. Lead process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  6. Implement new processes and ensure smooth rollouts in the Visa Application Centres (VACs).
  7. Control and manage the unit's budget and resources.
  8. Ensure regular training and development for staff.
  9. Oversee security (physical and data) at the VAC to prevent breaches.
  10. Drive and maintain value-added services to meet performance targets.
  11. Work with the Value-Added Services team to create new revenue channels.
  12. Mentor team members and ensure succession planning.
  13. Act as a counselor and provide guidance to junior staff.
  14. Liaise with support functions (HR, Finance, Administration, etc.).
  15. Forecast manpower needs, especially during peak seasons.
  16. Ensure the health and safety of employees, especially during busy periods.

Education:

  • Minimum: Graduate (from any major) or global equivalent

Experience:

  • 5 to 9 years of experience, preferably in the Service industry
  • Experience in handling teams and managing processes

Knowledge & Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office,
  • Good typing speed
  • Strong adaptability and the ability to handle customer queries and complaints
  • Ability to innovate and enhance procedures to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness
