About the role

PT. TRANSGLOBAL INDO MANDIRI is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Heavy Equipment to join our team in Batam Riau Islands. This full-time role is crucial in maintaining and repairing our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment such as excavators, prime mover, and cranes
  2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing appropriate repairs
  3. Replacing worn or faulty parts and components
  4. Collaborating with the operations team to ensure equipment is available and functioning effectively
  5. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
  6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic Heavy Equipment or in a similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of the mechanical systems and operations of heavy equipment
  3. Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  7. Effective communication and teamwork skills
