About the role

As the Export Manager at PT ANEKA PANGAN INTERNASIONAL, you will be responsible for driving the company's international sales and export growth strategies. This full-time position is based in Tangerang, Banten, and will involve leading a team to identify and pursue new export opportunities in key markets around the world while ensuring compliance with export regulations and smooth coordination across departments.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive export sales and marketing plans to expand the international customer base
  2. Identifying target markets, conducting market research, and evaluating new business opportunities
  3. Negotiating and closing export sales contracts with international customers
  4. Managing a team of export sales representatives and providing mentorship and guidance
  5. Collaborate with all relevant departments (production, logistics, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure proper implementation of export regulations and efficient operations
  6. Monitoring export performance, analyzing data, and reporting on key metrics to senior management
  7. Staying up to date with relevant industry regulations, trade agreements, and market trends and export regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales or new business development, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  2. At least 2 years in a managerial position, with proven leadership and team management skills
  3. Experience in coffee, chocolate, and/or tea will be considered a strong advantage
  4. Proven track record of successful export market expansion and sales growth
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong international relationships
  6. Proficiency in English (written & verbal); additional language skills are a plus
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven mindset
  8. Familiarity with international trade regulations, logistics, and export documentation
  9. Willingness to travel and undertake business trips as required
