What you'll be doing

  1. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements in Mandarin, including sales contracts, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents
  2. Ensuring all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective contract terms
  4. Providing expert advice and guidance on contract interpretation and risk mitigation
  5. Maintaining a centralised repository of commercial contracts and agreements
  6. Supporting the continuous improvement of contract management processes and templates

What we're looking for

  1. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
  2. 3+ years of experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation, preferably within the Trades & Services, Carpentry & Cabinet Making industry
  3. Strong understanding of commercial contract law and risk management principles
  4. Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
