Merchandising Officer

We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Officer to join our team at PT. Sitoy Leather Products Indonesia. As a Merchandising Officer at our company, which is located in Kendal Regency, Central Java, you will play an important role in supporting our retail operations.

Main Responsibilities

Design and execute effective product placement strategies across all stores to increase sales and enhance brand visibility.

  1. Conduct sales data and market trend analyses to identify merchandising opportunities and provide appropriate recommendations.
  2. Collaborate with the Marketing and Purchasing teams to ensure optimal stock availability and attractive product displays.
  3. Monitor the customer shopping experience and provide input to improve product layout and presentation.
  4. Oversee the implementation of promotional and discount programs in stores to achieve sales targets.
  5. Prepare regular merchandising performance reports for management.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a merchandising role within the leather bag manufacturing industry.
  3. Understand merchandising trends and best practices, and be able to analyze sales data.
  4. Creativity and skills in designing attractive visual displays.
  5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
