Company Overview

We are a leading player in international commodity trading, with a core focus on palm oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and their full range of downstream derivatives, as well as other energy and chemical products. Leveraging deep industry resources and a global network, we are committed to providing stable and efficient supply chain solutions. Due to business expansion, we are now seeking an experienced Trader to join our Indonesia team.

Position: Trader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Trading Execution: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, price movements, and supply chain risks for palm oil and related products. Develop and execute trading strategies. Manage the end-to-end transaction process, including inquiries, quotations, negotiations, contracting, and coordinating order execution and logistics.
  • Position & Risk Management: Actively manage trading positions, utilizing professional knowledge and market insights to identify and control trading risks, ensuring stable and controlled business operations.
  • Supplier & Client Network Development: Proactively develop, evaluate, and manage supplier and client networks for palm oil and its derivatives, establishing and maintaining solid, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Cost Optimization & Profit Realization: Achieve cost-saving targets and enhance trading profit margins through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing, while ensuring product quality and supply stability.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales, logistics, finance, and risk control teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process from trade execution to final settlement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade, Agricultural Economics, Chemical Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, capable of using it as the primary working language for both written and oral communication. Proficiency in Mandarin will be a significant advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in trading, procurement, or sales within a large palm oil industry company or related trading field. Deep understanding of the palm oil industry chain, market dynamics, and pricing mechanisms.
