1. Job Purpose

To support the Senior Commercial Manager in administrative, sales coordination, and desk-based tasks that contribute to the division's commercial strategy. The intern will gain firsthand exposure to client management, internal process coordination, and service-based commercial operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and client reports
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings
  • Update and maintain CRM systems, client databases, and project trackers
  • Support the sales team with document compilation, lead follow-ups, and communication drafts
  • Help prepare internal performance dashboards and sales reports
  • Organize digital files, folders, and commercial documentation
  • Participate in team briefings, learn commercial workflows, and provide notes/summaries as needed
  • Assist in market research and internal benchmarking tasks
  • Support any ongoing commercial initiatives or small process improvement projects

3. Learning Outcomes / Exposure

  • Understand how a multi-sector B2B service company handles commercial strategy and execution
  • Learn the coordination process between sales, admin, and operational units
  • Gain familiarity with sales pipelines, client relationship cycles, and cross-department collaboration
  • Develop presentation, reporting, and communication skills in a real-world business context

4. Qualifications

  • Final year student or fresh graduate in Business, Management, Communication, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Strong interest in commercial operations, business services, or sales
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks under guidance

  • Occasional task collaboration with Sales Admins/Account Executives and Assistant Managers
