Commissioning Engineer

Requirements:

1.    Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer

• Working of experience in start-up and commissioning in mining infrastructure
• Computer Literate MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) ETAP software
• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, from reputable University.
• Personnel with a Diploma (D3) must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in startup and commissioning in mining infrastructure. Bachelor's degree (S1) must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Able to interpret electrical and instrumentation wiring diagrams. Knowledgeable in electrical safety standards (IEC, IEEE, and applicable local regulations).
• Valid Certificate POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) is required
• Electrical Licenses – Low Voltage / Medium Voltage.
• Safety Certifications – Work at Height, LOTOTO, CPR, and other relevant safety training
• Work Location : PT. Freeport Indonesia, Papua

2.    Automation Engineer

• Working of experience in start-up and commissioning in mining infrastructure
• Computer Literate MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, from reputable University
• Personnel with a Diploma (D3) must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in startup and commissioning in mining infrastructure. Bachelor's degree (S1) must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled in using Variable Speed Drive software (e.g., DriveTools, CCW). Hands-on experience with PLC and DCS hardware (e.g., ControlLogix, MicroLogix, Honeywell).  Capable of developing and implementing control logic and automation algorithms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in automation systems.
• Valid Certificate POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) is required
• Safety Certifications – Work at Height, LOTOTO, CPR, and other relevant safety training.
• Work Location : PT. Freeport Indonesia, Papua

3.    Protection Engineer

• Working of experience in start-up and commissioning in mining infrastructure
• Computer Literate MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering from reputable University
• Personnel with a Diploma (D3) must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in startup and commissioning in mining infrastructure. Bachelor's degree (S1) must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in conducting system checks prior to startup. Strong understanding of power system modeling and fault analysis. Experienced in relay setting and coordination analysis. Skilled in secondary injection testing using tools such as Omicron. Familiarity with SEL and Multilin protection relays.
• Valid Certificate POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) is required
• Safety Certifications – Work at Height, LOTOTO, CPR, and other relevant safety training.

4.    Completion Engineer

• Working of experience in start-up and commissioning in mining infrastructure
• Computer Literate MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Engineering, Project Management, from reputable University.
• Personnel with a Diploma (D3) must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in startup and commissioning in mining infrastructure. Bachelor's degree (S1) must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experienced in using Commissioning & Completions Management Software. Capable of preparing system completion reports and certification documentation. Skilled in managing official handover processes and archiving technical records.
• Valid Certificate POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) is required
• Safety Certifications – Work at Height, LOTOTO, CPR, and other relevant safety training.
