We are looking for a Solar Project Engineer, and you will be based in Jakarta.

Inecosolar is a subsidiary of Yinson Renewables, the renewables division of global energy infrastructure and technology company Yinson Holdings Berhad.

The Project Engineer plays an important role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. This role involves technical design review, coordination with contractors and suppliers, site supervision, and ensuring that all engineering works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in the engineering and implementation of Solar PV projects (rooftop or ground-mounted):

  • Perform site visits for technical assessment.
  • Prepare project timelines, bill of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and other necessary documents.
  • Review and verify engineering design and drawings.
  • Coordinate with the design department, operation department, and all project stakeholders (third parties and client) to ensure clear communication.
  • Perform quality control, commissioning, testing, and performance verification of the project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (IEC, PLN, SNI, PUIL, etc.) and project specifications.
  • Participate in HSE implementation and ensure safe work practices on-site.
  • Compiling project reports and technical management documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy engineering (or related fields).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in C&I Solar PV projects (design or installation).

  • Strong understanding of PV system working concepts and components.

  • Familiar with software such as CAD, PVsyst, MS Project, and MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of electrical design standards and grid interconnection requirements.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Bahasa and English (both written and spoken) for communication with international partners and documentation.

  • Willing to travel to project sites.
