Job Summary:

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing overall product and engineering activities within the manufacturing facility while ensuring that products are produced to meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives.

The primary job responsibility of the Production Engineering Manager is to ensure efficient and effective production operations through optimizing resource allocation, monitoring production metrics, and implementing process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize waste. The incumbent for this role is required to continuously make improvement and maintain operational excellence within the production department by identifying areas for improvement, implementing lean manufacturing principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement among the production team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • To manage the overall Product engineer team KPI(s) and corporate KPI(s).
  • To be involved in component and material supplier evaluation.
  • To assist customers on product engineering issues.
  • Supervise the Product Engineers and Technicians of the department to complete their given assignment.
  • To supervise Product Engineers in preparing new project management.
  • Authorized to amend the documentation information if found incorrect from customer drawing /specification.
  • Any other duties as requested by superior from time to time.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • At least 5 or 10 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, if experience as a Product Engineer Manager Position is a Plus
  • At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Electronic Company, especially wire harness.
  • Able to speak in English Fluently, can mandarin is a plus
  • Strong decision-making and people management skills
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
  • Positive mindset and Can Do Attitude
