PT FWD Insurance Indonesia ("FWD Insurance"), a joint-venture insurance company and a part of FWD Group, previously known as PT Commonwealth Life, has successfully merged with PT FWD Life Indonesia ("FWD Life") as of 1 December 2020 and will be known as FWD Insurance.

The merger of FWD Life and FWD Insurance has led to a more comprehensive range of products, including unit-linked insurance, individual & group term life insurance, individual & group personal accident insurance, and group medical insurance through technology driven-distributions such as agency, bancassurance, e-commerce, and corporate.

Responsible to support Head of Pricing Actuary for Preparing Rate, Product Approval Report, Reinsurance agreement, Pricing Analysis (VoNB, Profit Margin, BreakEven Year, Internal Rate of Return) for Product Pricing Department accurately in timely Manner).

  • Develop Initial Product Pricing and assure assumptions alligning across product including discussion and negotiation with Distribution Channel.

  • Support Pricing Actuary initiative related to new products development

  • Managing product pricing profitability indicator to meet company requirement.

  • Performing product pricing process through product filling documentations, expense allowable, sales ilustrations, product assumptions – distribution mix, mortaity/morbidity, interest rate, lapse rate) to support business objectif

  • Assesing impact on profitability for any assumption changes in timely manner.

  • Managing and Develop junior staff

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Actuarial/ Mathematics/ Statistics or other related discipline

  • At least 5 years life insurance experience specifically in product development and product pricing

  • Have skills in PROPHET software
