What you do :

  • Lead and mentor the R&D team in formulation, testing, and continuous improvement, ensuring all sensory, microbiological, and physicochemical results meet company standards.
  • Drive innovation and new product development by improving formulations and processes, analyzing shelf-life study results, and providing recommendations for product quality and stability.
  • Plan and execute lab-scale and pilot trials, including process validation, equipment verification, and raw material or finished product specification updates.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive R&D documentation, covering product specifications, SOPs, test reports, and regulatory or certification requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA/QC, Production, Marketing, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth product handover, while coordinating with external partners such as laboratories, BPOM, and suppliers for new ingredient evaluations.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and team performance to ensure all development activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

We are looking for you who :

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Understand and Implement ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, 5S, K3, Food Security/GSV & Jaminan Halal, (HAS 23000), FSSC 22000, Food Safety.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in R&D, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Experienced in shelf-life study, sensory and physicochemical testing, and data interpretation.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements (BPOM, Halal certification) and product documentation.
  • Able to prepare and maintain technical documents, SOPs, and product specifications.
