The MEP Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed and coordinated MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings that align with architectural and structural plans for various construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with project quantity and cost data (BoQ) . This position requires strong technical ability, precision, and proactive coordination with the Engineer, QS Division and Coordination Team to maintain drawing accuracy, construction feasibility, and cost efficiency.

You will report directly to the Engineer and coordinates closely with Drafting Team, Quantity Surveyor, Site and Project Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise detailed MEP drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp, Revit MEP, BIM Archicad according to Company standards.
  • Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings ensuring alignment with structural and architectural layouts.
  • Coordinate with QS Division to provide drawing data that supports BoQ preparation and volume take-off accuracy.
  • Integrate MEP layouts with structure and architecture to prevent design clashes (composite drawing coordination).
  • Maintain and update drawing revision logs, ensuring all changes are approved and recorded properly.
  • Support Project Coordinator and Site Team in reviewing and clarifying technical drawings during project execution.
  • Ensure drawings meet project deadlines, BHB drafting standards, and QC documentation format.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information to support material scheduling, installation, and project procurement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an MEP Drafter in the construction or design–build industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and preferably Revit MEP.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, detailing standards, and site implementation workflow.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and disciplined in documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills across technical divisions (QS, Site, Coordination).
  • Able to work under project deadlines and willing to be based in Bali / on-site when required.
