Role Description

The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of prospective and existing debtors through comprehensive financial, business, and risk analysis. This role ensures that credit decisions are made based on accurate data, sound judgment, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards. The Credit Analyst evaluates the debtor's ability to meet loan obligations, proposes appropriate credit structures, and recommends mitigation strategies to minimize potential credit risks.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to management, while maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism throughout the credit assessment process.

Qualifications

  • Conduct 5C analysis (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Condition) to assess the debtor's ability and willingness to fulfill credit obligations.
  • Verify the completeness and authenticity of prospective debtor documents, including identity, business legality, simple financial statements, and collateral documents.
  • Perform an initial analysis of the collateral's value and eligibility in accordance with BPR internal regulations.
  • Calculate the applicant's business cash flow/income in detail to ensure their ability to make installment payments on time.
  • Identify higher credit risks in uncollateralized schemes and prepare appropriate mitigation measures (e.g., cross-checking, personal guarantees, stable business segments).
  • Conduct deep character checking through interviews, third-party references (neighbors, suppliers, employers), and credit history verification via SLIK OJK.
