Primary Job Role:

The Credit Analyst Staff is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, as well as monitoring the creditworthiness of existing borrowers. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Job Description:

  1. Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in lending money to borrowers.
  2. Prepare credit reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for approval or denial of credit applications.
  3. Monitor existing credit facilities and conduct periodic reviews to ensure continued creditworthiness.
  4. Collaborate with the Credit Analyst Leader to develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
  5. Identify trends and patterns in credit data to develop insights and inform decision-making.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and databases.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis or related fields.
  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Familiarity with credit risk management principles and practices.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
