Purpose of the Role

Allure Industries is one of Indonesia's leading innovators in aluminum doors, windows, partitions, and architectural systems. With a fast-growing multi-brand and multi-product portfolio and a strong commitment to design excellence and sustainable engineering, we are expanding our Research & Development capability. We are looking for an R&D Manager who will drive new product development, technical improvement, and engineering innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development


• Lead end-to-end development of new products across aluminum systems, accessories, architectural components, and integrated solutions.


• Run prototyping, testing, validation, and pilot runs.


• Translate market needs and customer insights into technical specifications.


• Benchmark global technologies to bring world-class innovation to Indonesia.

2. Technical Services & Support


• Oversee technical problem-solving for internal teams


• Provide expert guidance on installation methods, system performance, and material optimization.


• Improve system manuals, technical datasheets, and engineering standards

3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership


• Partner with Production, PPIC, QAQC, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure successful product launches.


• Support supply chain and vendor qualification for new materials or technologies.


• Work closely with Management to build pipeline products for the next 3–5 years.

4. Innovation Culture


• Establish R&D best practices, SOPs, and structured documentation.


• Introduce systematic testing, rapid experimentation, and data-driven decision making.


• Explore integration of AI, automation, and advanced engineering tools into product design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in R&D, Product Development, or Technical/Engineering roles (preferably in aluminum, building materials, architectural systems, or manufacturing).
  • Strong understanding of materials (aluminum, hardware systems, coatings, glass, WPC, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple development projects from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with production facilities, testing labs, and technical documentation.
  • Leadership mindset with strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Passion for innovation, engineering excellence, and building products that bring joy to customers.
