Position: Restaurant Manager

Location: The Vibe Restaurant – VIP Villas & Wellness Resort, Mengalung, Kuta, Lombok

About the Restaurant:

The Vibe Restaurant is part of VIP Villas & Wellness Resort, which includes five luxury villas, a spa, and a gym. We serve mainly our in-house guests and focus on healthy, fresh, and wholesome food.

Our team currently includes 2 waitresses, 2 baristas, and 3 kitchen staff.

The restaurant has been open for 60 days and is currently serving around 20–25 orders per day — we are still in the pre-opening growth stage.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager who can independently lead the restaurant to the next level, with the clear goal of tripling revenue and daily orders within the first 3 months (probation period).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the menu, pricing, and food cost
  • Source and negotiate with the best suppliers
  • Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff
  • Improve customer satisfaction and service standards
  • Develop local promotions and marketing strategies
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and daily performance
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within the resort and local community

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing a new or pre-opening restaurant from setup to success
  • Ability to operate independently without owner involvement
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant suppliers, equipment, packaging, and cost control
  • Located in Lombok (no relocation provided)
  • Available to work on-site full time

Performance Expectation:

Tripling the current restaurant revenue and orders within the 3-month probation period will be a key performance goal.
