About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team at PT Sapta Tunas Teknologi. In this full-time, office-based role in Jakarta, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our company's critical network infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure (on-premise and/or cloud).
  2. Perform regular vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and recommend actionable remediations.
  3. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents in real time
  4. Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, SOPs, and incident response playbooks.
  5. Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure secure configurations and processes.
  6. Continuously stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies.
  7. Provide internal security consulting and contribute to risk assessments for new initiatives or systems.
  8. Participate in security reviews, audits, and compliance processes.

What we're looking for

  1. Experienced in cybersecurity: SOC, blue-team, DFIR, red-team, or security engineering.
  2. Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms (Splunk, Elastic, etc.).
  3. Proficiency in triaging incidents, working with log sources, and creating detection rules/playbooks.
  4. Familiarity with frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, NIST CSF.
  5. Scripting capability (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate security operations or analyze data.
  6. Experience with security across systems: network, firewall, EDR, WAF, OS, TI feeds, etc.
  7. Willingness to work outside business hours, including weekends during migrations/integrations.
  8. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Jakarta.
