Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Network Security Engineer to strengthen our organization's network and infrastructure security capabilities. This position focuses specifically on the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of critical network security systems, including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and other perimeter defenses. The successful candidate will play a leading role in building a sophisticated security architecture and protecting core network assets from daily security threats.

· Network Security Architecture Design & Implementation
o Lead or participate in the design and deployment of network security solutions such as Firewalls, L4/L7 switches, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
o Enhance the network environment by integrating the latest security requirements, including Zero Trust principles.
· Security System Operations & Policy Management
o Analyze, migrate, and optimize firewall rules and policies across various platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto).
o Ensure 24/7 stable operation of network security devices and manage regular patching/updates.
o Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network traffic analysis tools.
· Threat Analysis & Incident Response (IR)
o Detect and block network-based intrusion attempts and malicious traffic.
o Perform swift response and recovery during network security incidents, followed by post-mortem analysis reports.
· Cloud/Hybrid Environment Support
o Support the configuration and management of network security groups and virtual firewalls (WAF) in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
· Documentation & Compliance
o Document network security policies, configuration guides, and operational procedures, ensuring they are kept up-to-date.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience
o Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Network Security Engineering or related role (Firewall operation/implementation is essential).
o Experience deploying security systems within a large-scale enterprise network environment is a plus.
· Technical Skills
o In-depth understanding and proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, etc.).
o Expertise in core networking knowledge, including Routing, Switching, and TCP/IP protocols.
o Experience implementing and managing VPNs (IPSec, SSL-VPN).
o Proficiency in utilizing network packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
o Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.) for network task automation is preferred.
· Soft Skills
o Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex network and security challenges.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with operations and other engineering teams.
· Certifications / Education (Preferred)
o Holding network/security vendor certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE is highly desirable.
o A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security is preferred.
