About the role

Oasis Padel', an innovative and dynamic company based in the vibrant city of Bali, is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation & kitchen management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our discerning clientele. This is a full-time position based in Bali.

What you'll be doing

  1. Managing and leading a team of skilled kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  2. Ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control in the kitchen
  3. Monitoring and controlling food and labour costs to maintain profitability
  4. Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless service and a memorable dining experience for our guests
  5. Participating in the development and execution of special events and promotions

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
  2. Formal culinary training or a recognised qualification in the field of hospitality or culinary arts
  3. Exceptional cooking skills and a deep understanding of international cuisines and flavour profiles
  4. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of building and motivating successful kitchen teams
  5. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  6. Passion for creating innovative and visually appealing dishes
  7. Familiarity with cost control and inventory management procedures
  8. Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, or a willingness to learn
