Job Description:

  • Coordinate actuarial modelling works including communication with the AMSI (Actuarial Modelling Standardized Initiatives) workstream, managing timeline and working with valuation team to provide AMSI documentation. Actuarial modelling related to new products, new actuarial assumptions and model refinement to close valuation issue and gap.
  • Manage timelines related to monthly and quarterly valuation closings by coordinating with all valuation teams to check valuation inputs and outputs (including IFRS 17 portfolio grouping utility), so that teams able to meet the Green Button schedule.
  • Coordinate with reinsurance team to ensure that all reinsurance agreement already reflected in reinsurance extracts including when the enhancement in reinsurance extract to support IFRS 17 valuation is required.
  • Coordinate to all valuation team to ensure that non-model valuation input successfully to be reflected in financial statement
  • Work with valuation team and Finance/Accounting team to support financial reporting analysis
  • Provide support for any additional reports or ad hoc reports required from time to time.

  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 valuation and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, both Indonesian and English
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively and collaborate with non-Actuarial functions
  • Cooperative attitude, highly responsible and reliable

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
  • Hold minimum Associate Actuaries Professional degree
  • Minimum 3 years working in Valuation Actuarial position
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and preferable have experience of Actuarial software/ programming language

  • Lead the IFRS 17 Valuation Reporting Process while maintaining close coordination with Actuarial Valuation and Non-Valuation functions, ensuring adherence to timelines and continuously identifying opportunities for valuation improvement.
