About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Grahasumber Prima Elektronik as an IT Hardware IoT Developer / IoT Engineer on a contract basis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IoT (Internet of Things) hardware solutions to support the company's range of innovative electronic products. This role is based in Jakarta.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education D3/S1 in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experienced (or has completed projects) in hardware design based on microcontrollers such as AVR, ESP32, STM32, or Raspberry Pi.
  • Proficient in embedded system programming (C/C++/Python).
  • Skilled in embedded framework development (Arduino, PlatformIO, ESP-IDF).
  • Understands IoT data communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus).
  • Understands IC communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C).
  • Able to read schematic diagrams and design simple PCBs using software such as Proteus, KiCad, Eagle, or EasyEDA.
  • Understands basic electronics concepts (current, voltage, etc.).
  • Has soldering skills for both SMD and THT PCB components.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills in electronics.

  • Preferably familiar with:

  • Cloud IoT platforms (ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, Blynk, Firebase, Node-RED).

  • Data integration to dashboards or web monitoring systems.
  • Experience in industrial products or power panel systems.

Main Responsibilities (Job Description):

  • Design and develop IoT hardware prototypes, including selecting microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules.
  • Develop IoT-based monitoring and control systems (e.g., temperature, current, voltage, power consumption, etc.).
  • Integrate hardware with software or cloud platforms (e.g., MQTT, REST API, Blynk, AWS IoT, etc.).
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of IoT devices until they are ready for deployment.
  • Create technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and SOPs for device operation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and IT Software teams in developing smart systems and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Provide technical support for IoT systems in the field when required.
