Key Responsibilities

  • Develop IoT services and device-side applications using
    Golang

,
Python

, and
TypeScript

- Build and maintain firmware, scripts, and edge logic for
Raspberry Pi

and similar IoT hardware.
- Implement
event-driven

communication with
MQTT

,
Pub/Sub

, and lightweight messaging protocols.
- Work with
PostgreSQL

,
TimescaleDB

for storing sensor and event data.
- Write
unit tests

and ensure code reliability for both device and backend components.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and hardware teams to ensure seamless device-to-cloud integration.
- Participate in troubleshooting device connectivity, networking issues, and message delivery reliability.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience working with IoT systems, embedded devices, or backend development.
  • Strong programming proficiency in
    Golang

Python

, and
TypeScript

- Experience with
Raspberry Pi

, GPIO, serial communication, or other microcontroller ecosystems.
- Good understanding of
MQTT, Pub/Sub

, event-driven design, and real-time messaging.
- Familiarity with relational and time-series databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB).
- Experience writing
unit tests

using Go testing, PyTest, or Jest.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN, MQTT brokers, firewalls).
- Ability to debug hardware–software interactions and intermittent device failures.
