About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Staff to join our team at Arpana Villas & Private Estate in Badung, Bali. As a Purchasing Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of goods and services for our luxury resort. This is a full-time position, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Researching and identifying reliable suppliers of goods and services required by the resort
  2. Preparing and issuing purchase orders, negotiating prices, and managing supplier relationships
  3. Maintaining accurate records of all purchases, including budgets, invoices, and inventory levels
  4. Collaborating with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  5. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to optimise purchasing processes
  6. Assisting with the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
  7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  2. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  3. Proficient in using procurement software and Excel for data management and analysis
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  5. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  6. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
