To support the group's growing mining operations and compliance activities, we are seeking qualified candidates to join our Jakarta office as Legal Officer or Senior Legal Officer, depending on experience and capability.

Position Summary

The Legal Officer / Senior Legal Officer will be responsible for mining and corporate legal matters, including permit and licensing processes, environmental compliance (UKL-UPL / AMDAL), and coordination with government agencies such as ESDM, KLHK, PTSP, and other related institutions.

The position also includes handling submissions through OSS and ensuring compliance for both local (PT) and PMA entities within the group.

Responsibilities


• Prepare, process, and monitor mining-related permits and licenses (IUP, RKAB, PPKH, etc.).


• Manage environmental documentation and compliance such as UKL-UPL and AMDAL.


• Handle corporate legal documentation for both local and PMA companies, including changes, reporting, and registration updates.


• Coordinate with PTSP, BPKB, and relevant authorities for licensing and compliance activities.


• Maintain and update company data through OSS and other government portals.


• Draft and review agreements, MoUs, and official correspondence.


• Liaise with central, provincial, and local government offices (ESDM, KLHK, BKPM/PTSP) for permit applications, renewals, and compliance matters.


• Maintain a tracking system for licenses and ensure renewals and reports are submitted on time.


• Support management in legal documentation, compliance reporting, and liaison duties.

Qualifications

Legal Officer


• Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.


• 2–3 years of experience as Legal Officer or Legal Staff, preferably in mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.


• Familiar with mining, environmental (UKL-UPL / AMDAL), and corporate licensing procedures.


• Knowledge of OSS, PTSP, BPKB, and PMA company regulations.


• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work independently under supervision.

Senior Legal Officer


• Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.), Master's (S2) preferred.


• 5–7 years of experience in mining or industrial legal work, with proven experience in IUP, RKAB, UKL-UPL, AMDAL, and PMA regulatory compliance.


• Strong coordination experience with ESDM, KLHK, PPKH, PTSP, and BKPM.


• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and compliance management skills.


• Capable of supervising junior staff and ensuring the company's documentation meets all corporate and PMA requirements.
