About the Role:

We seek a Legal Officer (In-House Counsel) to support Tridorian's operations in Indonesia by navigating the local legal landscape, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic legal guidance to the leadership team. This role is ideal for a qualified legal professional who has chosen not to practice law in court but wishes to leverage their expertise in a corporate setting, assisting a fast-growing technology company in making legally sound business decisions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Corporate and Commercial Legal Advisory – Advise management on local legal and regulatory matters affecting business operations.
  • Contract Management – Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including customer agreements, partnerships, and employment contracts.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with Indonesian laws, industry regulations, and Google Cloud partner requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation – Identify potential legal risks and develop proactive strategies to minimize liabilities.
  • Employment Law & HR Support – Guide HR on labor law compliance, employment contracts, and dispute resolution.
  • Engagement with External Counsel – Collaborate with external law firms when required.
  • Government & Regulatory Relations – Liaise with authorities when necessary to support business operations.
  • Legal Research & Policy Development – Monitor changes in Indonesian laws relevant to the technology sector and provide updates to management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Sarjana Hukum (S.H.) – Law Degree from a reputable university.
  • Advocate Professional Exam (Ujian Profesi Advokat) qualification preferred but not required.
  • Indonesian Bar Association Membership (PERADI) is a plus but not mandatory (court representation is not required).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of legal experience as an in-house counsel or legal practitioner handling corporate and commercial legal matters.
  • Bonus Experience: Previous work experience in a tech company or a technology reseller is a strong advantage.
