Job Summary
Manage company assets (vessels) by optimizing revenue according to the deployment strategy and minimizing idle time between charterers

Job Accountability- Secure spot and medium term charter and ensure vessels are correctly deployed for TC or else to optimize earnings in accordance with deployment strategy and time charter budget this include:

  • Day to day contact with the market, particularly brokers, charterers and other sources
  • Review, formulate and negotiate Charter Party terms and Rider Clauses
  • Accountable for the preparation of tenders, bids and offers together with the necessary supporting documentation, including survey arrangement for the vessels as part of T/C agreement.
  • In close coordination with MSM, Insurance, Operations and Trade for any requirement and inquiry
  • Identify and recommend project opportunities including pooling
  • Optimize vessel utilization relative to market peers and produce regular performance management reports
  • Manage key customer to maintain good relationships with current and prospective Charterers
  • Prepare and review Chartering financial report including budget and monthly evaluations
  • Prepare and review Meratus Group Internal Charter Party (all vessel) including daily rate calculation (for chartered out vessel)
  • Charter In vessels including but not limited: Fix / negotiate, Contract review
  • Supervising all fixtures (charter out and charter in) and assist in post-fixtures activities
