The Company

Stanford is a P2P lending Multinational Company that engages in Fintech Business in Indonesia. Utilising big data and our expertise in mobile technology, we aim to help people to benefit from inclusive finance efficiently.

Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a PR Specialist/Officer, preferably in fintech, banking, or startups.
  • Strong media network (relations) and understanding of Indonesia's media landscape.
  • Proficient in writing press releases and PR content in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Having a good copywriting, content creation and social media awareness.
  • Proficient using tools: Microsoft Office, Media Monitoring Tools, Canva etc. would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, crisis management, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with OJK regulations on fintech/P2P lending will be a plus.Able to join immediately is preferrable
Job Description

A. Media Relations

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with the media (print, online, TV, radio).
  • Draft and distribute press releases and ensure positive exposure.

B. Corporate Communication

  • Develop the company's communication strategy, including publications, corporate content, and official company messaging.
  • Manage the company's image and reputation through external media.

C. Crisis & Issue Management

  • Anticipate potential reputation issues and develop appropriate response strategies.
  • Act as a liaison in crisis communications.

D. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Government Relations to support the company's relationship with regulators (OJK, AFPI, AFTECH) through ethical and regulatory-compliant communications.
  • Assist in managing the company's external events.

E. Internal Support

  • Collaborate with the Commercial, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver consistent messaging.
  • Support the board of directors' communication needs in public forums.
