Operation Officer

Location: Batam, Riau Island

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Operations Officer
to join our team in Batam. This role is central to our daily productivity, responsible for overseeing workshop activities, managing manpower, and coordinating critical logistics between Batam and Singapore. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manpower Coordination:
    Organize, allocate, and strategically deploy manpower resources to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Workshop Management:
    Oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities within the workshop to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Safety & Maintenance:
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in both the workshop and staff apartment; uphold all company safety standards and housekeeping protocols.
  • Logistics & Transportation:
    Coordinate and manage the cross-border transportation of spare parts between
    Batam and Singapore.
  • Manage transportation logistics for workers based on operational needs.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    Generate accurate and timely service reports for internal and customer use; compile and submit required yard documentation.

Requirement

  • Language:
    High proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory for reporting and international coordination.
  • Documentation:
    Must possess a
    valid Passport
    and a
    valid Driving License
    (SIM A/C).
  • Experience:
    Proven experience in workshop operations, logistics, or a similar supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    Strong organizational skills, ability to lead a team, and proficiency in basic office software for reporting.
