Position: Production Manager

Reporting to: Senior Operations Manager

Working Location: Bali, Indonesia

Company Overview: We are a dynamic and rapidly growing team producing premium and luxury artisan crafted bags and accessories. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking for an experienced Production Manager passionate about producing quality craftsmanship and deep knowledge on community-driven production processes.

Role Overview: This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing our production processes, with a focus on community-driven and sustainable practices. You will lead a team of artisans and collaborate closely with community partners to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and social responsibility are upheld throughout the production cycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our brand mission of setting new industry standards through excellence, sustainability, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end production process with artisans, production and raw material suppliers applying stringent quality control at each checkpoint, ensuring adherence to the brand high quality product standards and strict production deadlines.
  • Resolve production and quality issues in professional and timely manner.
  • Regular and as-needed visits to artisans and material suppliers to maintain relationships and oversee orders in production.
  • Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly production scheduling and reporting for in-house and outsourced production.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Procurement, Inventory and Data Management to ensure optimized visibility and coordination of order status.
  • Manage online production order filing systems on Company's Google Drive.
  • Manage and support weaver in customer experience events with local establishments.
  • Lead and nurture artisans, production teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, skill development, and engagement.
  • Continuously improve production workflows and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce environmental impact.
  • Monitor production costs and budgetary constraints, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all production activities, maintaining a clean, safe and healthy working environment.

Qualifications:

  • D3/ S1 qualification
  • Minimum 5 years direct experiences managing end-to-end production processes.
  • Hands-on knowledge of community-based production.
  • Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-cultural teams towards common goals.
  • Fluent in written/ spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia. Knowledge of Balinese language is an advantage.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to maintain luxury quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with local and international management teams.
  • Flexible and fast learner who thinks out of the box.
