A sustainable food company specialising in wild-harvested and locally sourced ingredients from Bali is looking for a Production Facility Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the production facility, ensuring that every stage from ingredient procurement to final shipment. Runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety regulations. This role will oversee production processes, equipment maintenance, inventory, procurement, logistics, and team performance while meeting company quality standards, timelines, and budget goals.

Requirements :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum five years experience in manufacturing or food production facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BPOM, and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Experience in procurement, inventory control, production planning, and logistics.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Strong organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, reliability, and strong leadership or team management capabilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage daily production activities and ensure sanitary operations according to company procedures.
  • Coordinate and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene protocols in line with HACCP, GMP, and BPOM requirements.
  • Monitor and analyse production performance, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
  • Oversee purchasing ingredients, packaging, and other resources needed for production.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Control waste and optimise resource use.
  • Oversee incoming orders, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain proper documentation for shipments and deliveries.
  • Ensure production equipment is cleaned, repaired, and well maintained.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repairs with internal teams or external vendors.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines for all staff and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Supervise, motivate, and manage production team performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
  • Prepare and present production and budget reports to the directors.
  • Analyse operational data to identify process improvements.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
