This role is responsible for leading strategic finance functions across the company, supporting C-Level decision-making through rigorous financial analysis, modeling, and risk assessment. The role combines hands-on financial execution with high-level strategic thinking, particularly in areas such as business planning, funding strategy, and capital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead core finance functions including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions, scenario planning, and long-term strategy.
  • Translate business initiatives into financial impact analysis, including profitability, cash flow, and risk implications.
  • Support C-Level management with data-driven insights for strategic, operational, and investment decisions.
  • Develop financial theses and supporting materials for fundraising activities when required (e.g. valuation, use of funds, investor narratives).
  • Coordinate closely with Accounting and Tax teams to ensure alignment between financial analysis, accounting treatment, and tax considerations.
  • Ensure financial assumptions are consistent with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor financial risks and propose mitigation strategies aligned with the company's risk appetite.
  • Support ad-hoc strategic projects, including new product initiatives, partnerships, and expansion plans, from a financial perspective.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in finance, corporate finance, or financial strategy; experience in financial institutions or startup environments is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis, financial statements, and cash flow management.
  • Proven ability to build complex, structured financial models from scratch.
  • Solid grasp of basic accounting and taxation concepts, with experience coordinating across finance, accounting, and tax functions.
  • Comfortable working directly with C-Level executives and influencing decisions through financial insight.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
