About the Job
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Managing Director, responsible for managing our presence and growth in Indonesia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, including experience in business development and investment, asset management, and key stakeholder management. They will be responsible for developing and delivering annual operational business plans and KPIs for the unit, managing and overseeing office activities and interactions with local advisors to meet local and statutory requirements, and overseeing cash management of the office and managing project cash call requirements in coordination with Masdar HQ.

Main Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver annual operational business plans and KPIs for the unit* Manage and oversee office activities and interactions with local advisors to meet local and statutory requirements* Oversee cash management of the office and manage project cash call requirements in coordination with Masdar HQ* Lead the execution of required activities while optimizing resource utilization* Ensure office activities alignment against approved office strategy and business plan* Perform relevant research to support informed decision making* Contribute to business development and investment activities in the assigned geography* Identify and recommend new business opportunities and partnerships for the portfolio in the assigned geography, including new service categories* Provide input for relevant country strategies* Support with the establishment of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) as and when required by management* Contribute to business development and investment activities and tasks in the defined geography to ensure objectives are met, Masdar's interests are safeguarded, and compliance with international principles of corporate governance and standards, and Masdar requirements* Manage and oversee projects in the country, including preparing and agreeing project specifications, budgets, and timelines with contractors, clients, or other stakeholders, throughout development, construction, and operation phases* Represent Masdar in relevant events & conferences subject to Masdar's approval* Manage relationships with government stakeholders on behalf of Masdar* Oversee and review all external submissions and letters, documentation, and reporting to stakeholders such as government authorities* Drive the implementation of consistent and coherent governance processes, supported by appropriate methods and controls* Ensure achievement of business objectives and compliance with Masdar Policies, Procedures, and Standards* Drive the implementation of cost efficiencies and savings as and where possible to contribute to overall business efficiency* Oversees the management and preparation of related documentation for Board meetings, shareholder meetings, and steering committee meetings* Oversees the overall office management and administrative activities in line with relevant standards and procedures* Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating policies and procedures* Manage the team by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, training, and development to ensure high levels of engagement and competence and motivated work environment* Manage the Company's performance and daily operations and meet the requirements of the Company in line with the Company's shareholders' expectations* Contribute to recommending and monitoring the unit budget yearlong so that the business is aware of areas of unsatisfactory performance against the budget and so that performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon* Ensure relationships with service level providers are managed smoothly and effectively in a way that guarantees that Masdar is provided with quality and timely services, in line with relevant service level agreements* As and when required by management, personally manages key relationships/negotiations with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure the negotiation and agreement of favourable deals and agreements that safeguard Masdar's best interests while ensuring the delivery of necessary needs/goals* Assist in identifying new opportunities for the growth and development of the O&M business by providing local necessary data* Assist in overseeing the operations and maintenance of assets, ensuring they are maintained for maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability*
