Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the preparation and filing of tax reports and returns, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations.
  2. Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards.
  3. Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  4. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
  5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
  6. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  7. Mentor junior finance staff and share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and tax, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
