We are seeking an experienced Country Manager for our Finished Formulations Business in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, marketing, P&L, business operations, market expansion, and regulatory affairs.

  • Strategic Planning & Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives in Indonesia.
    • Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and new product launches to expand Alkem's presence in the market.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive business development.
    • Lead sales efforts in both tender and commercial business sectors.
    • Implement and drive sales and marketing initiatives to meet business targets.
    • Collaborate with distributors, key stakeholders, and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
    • Develop and execute promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
    • Oversee P&L, operations, and ensure overall business performance.
  • Regulatory & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
    • Work with BPOM (Indonesian FDA) and other regulatory authorities for product registrations and approvals.
    • Stay updated with regulatory changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Operations & Team Leadership:
    • Manage daily operations, including finance, supply chain, and logistics.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing local team.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the India office for stock management and provide regular business updates.
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
    • Optimize operational costs while ensuring efficiency and quality.
