Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of auditors to execute various types of audits.
  2. Assess and report on risk management and internal control effectiveness.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve control environment and efficiency.
  4. Represent Audit Services in meetings with regulators and respond to requests related to internal audit.
  5. Participate in various Audit Committees and Risk Committees.
  6. Leverage technology to improve audit process effectiveness and efficiency.
  7. Ensure quality of work and meet assigned KPIs.
  8. Manage projects within time budgets and target dates.
  9. Recruit and develop talented staff.
  10. Follow up on remediation actions for timely audit issue closure.

Requirements:

  1. 15+ years' experience in internal audit of life insurance, pension, asset management, and/or shariah business.
  2. Good knowledge of audit methodologies, control frameworks, and risk management techniques.
  3. Actuarial experience in valuation or product development in pricing is an asset.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Bahasa and English, with ability to deal with confrontations and resolve conflicts.
  5. Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
  6. Results-oriented with a keen focus on quality and delivering value; able to balance multiple priorities and projects.
  7. Recognized accounting or auditing professional designation.
