About the Job

This Senior Field Sales Engineering position involves working closely with internal teams (CSM, OM, IM, Ops, etc.) to ensure smooth project transitions from pre-sales to post-sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide technical consulting and sales support to customers, utilizing your deep understanding of Equinix products and services.
  • You will lead data center tours, explaining the facility's electrical and mechanical infrastructure capabilities.
  • You will exercise judgment to solve customer issues that are outside of standard procedures appropriately.
Solution Design and Deliverables
  • You will develop all deliverables for customers with minimal oversight from Sales Engineering Management and peers.
  • You will provide technical solution design expertise on colocation and customer cages to assigned Sales account executives.
  • You will support moderately complex RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales Representatives.
Customer Service
  • You will communicate with customers (internal and external) in a professional, friendly, and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • You will demonstrate good presentation skills and actively participate in cultivating a positive culture on the team.
  • You will possess industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
