You will prepare legal opinions and assistance on financing contracts based on applicable law and regulations, drafting, reviewing, advising, and obtaining perfection of financing and security legal documentations. Your expertise in managing internal operations processes with credit analysts, appraisers, and custodian teams will ensure effective service level agreements based on company standard operating procedures.
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide regular reporting to management and submit accurate and timely reports to regulators to avoid sanctions/fines. You will also monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains up-to-date and compliant.
Liaising with external regulators such as the Land National Office, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Courts, and other related government agencies is an essential part of this role.
