DESIGNATION : Cybersecurity Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involve overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of an organization's cybersecurity measures to protect its digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats

Key Responsibility:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives
- Lead and manage team cybersecurity
- Establish strategic partnerships with industry peers, government agencies, law enforcement, and information sharing organizations to enhance threat intelligence and collective defense capabilities.
- Handle cybersecurity incidents, lead effective incident response efforts, and communicate transparently with stakeholders to minimize impact and restore normal operations.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to effectively respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents.
- Developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to guide employee behavior and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices by regularly evaluating and enhancing security controls, processes, and technologies

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful cybersecurity strategies and initiatives.

**Knowledge**
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate teams, set clear goals, and provide direction in a fast-paced and evolving cybersecurity landscape.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, as well as for collaborating with team members and external partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop long-term cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational goals and to make informed decisions about resource allocation and risk management.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for analyzing complex cybersecurity issues, identifying root causes, and developing innovative solutions to address them effectively.
- Collaboration: Skill in building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to achieve cybersecurity objectives and promote a culture of security.
- Ethical Conduct: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting integrity in all cybersecurity activities, including respecting privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with laws and regulations.

**Technical**
- **Network Security**: Understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and secure network design principles.
- **Operating System Security**: Proficiency in securing various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix, including system hardening, patch management, and privilege management.
- **Cloud Security**: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and best practices for securing cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and configuration management.
- **Endpoint Security**: Experience in deploying and managing endpoint security solutions such as antivirus/antimalware, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- **Identity and Access Management (IAM)**: Understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity federation, as well as experience with IAM solutions such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privilege access management (PAM).
