**Job description**
In the context of the business plan and the corporate strategy of the Poultry business, the Poultry Corporate Strategic Manager will work with other functions to develop and execute the strategy aiming at becoming a Planning Partner/Trusted advisor for strategic and key accounts. The strategy will be designed to increase the value delivered to strategic & key accounts in order to grow a profitable business and increase customer loyalty.
Poultry Corporate Strategic Manager will work with the Poultry Regional Franchise organization and Regional/Local Key Account Managers to continue developing the Account Management capability across MSD. He/she will work with local commercial teams to build specific customer solutions integrating products and services in order to differentiate MSD from competitors, to create customer value and to become Global leader in poultry vaccination.
**Responsibilities and Key Duties**:
**Customer Needs, Relationship Management, and Market Penetration**: Develops and maintains effective / collaborative relationships with the poultry key customers. Gathers all the information required to develop a solid strategic account plan. Co-develop forecasts for the key brands/ products with the customer key decision-makers for production and budget purposes. Differentiates MSD offers to contribute to MSD’s market leadership and market penetration, in order to create mutual growth based on customer needs. Ensures communication with all key customer stakeholders involved in the decision-making process.
**Business/product positioning and Plan**: Executes MSD solutions with appropriate resources, listens to customer feedback and drives customer satisfaction. Provides management with accurate and timely forecasts to optimize resource planning. Where appropriate, negotiates annual contracts / bids. Analyzes the expenses required to execute the Account Plan, deploys the resources and tracks the associated expenses.
**Information Sharing**: Regularly discusses the Account Plan and communicates it to the commercial teams and Zone/ territories management. As needed, prepare powerful / impactful presentations to align MSD's organization on strategy with the Strategic Account, ensuring best-in-class execution.
**Management of sales outcomes and results**: Track daily, monthly, quarterly sales results and other key performance indicators for the Strategic Account. Review progress with the territory and area sales management teams at least once a month. Ensure fulfillment of customer commitments for contracted volumes.
**Other Duties**: Completes other duties as required.
**Requirement**:
With a Veterinary or a Master level, you have a background of 5 years in Agriculture with a strong knowledge of the poultry industry and an extensive experience in dealing with animal/meat production.
