Ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported; develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external customers; prepare account plan and report relevant market information; collaborate with internal departments to explore innovations and new concepts related to customers’ products and on-going projects; monitor market development in terms of competitors, products, and trends; partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply.

How you will contribute and lead
- Meet or exceed financial metrics; drive for results.
- Be Subject Matter Expert (SME) of assigned customers representing them within IFF.
- Understand customer strategy, brands, potential and how IFF will deliver value to their business.
- Deeply understand IFF’s organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product and service offerings.
- Position IFF as a trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customers’ needs.
- Identify customer needs aligned with IFF solutions.
- Maximize profit levers under his/her control (e.g. prices).
- Create, present and professionally execute strategic account plans aligning with Global, Regional and Sub-Regional business objectives. Keep them updated for relevancy.
- Be the face of IFF - Primary contact for customers, maintain and improve IFF’s position and image. Develop deep customer relationships at all levels through intensive networking and providing best in class customer service.
- Identify/create new business opportunities for IFF and develop and execute strategies to generate new sales.
- Accountable for accurate sales forecasts periodically.
- Prepare sales reports and new business activity for IFF Management.

What you will need to be successful

Experience:

- 5-8 years’ experience within the B2B food ingredients industry.
- Strong track record at a similar level with a passion to succeed in commercial

Skills:

- Customer centric with B2B management experience
- Analytical with the ability to deal with financial concepts/processes(pricing/margin/forecasting)
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Project management with effective collaboration and orchestration skills
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills
- Digital savvy with an ability to leverage online resources
- Ability to gather and leverage competitive market intelligence
- Industry knowledge of trends, companies, technology with passion for food ingredients
- Excellent networking, collaborative and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate activities of cross functional teams at all levels in the organization.
- Strong entrepreneurial, influencing and negotiating skill
