**Team Overview**

The Glance team works with large handset manufacturers (OEM) to create consumer products that are integrated into millions of handsets in India. The team aims to re-imagine content consumption on mobile, built on top of immersive product experiences and an AI led tech stack. The team also aims to create new monetization opportunities on top of immersive product experiences, thus creating multi-million dollar opportunity for OEMs and Glance.

**Job Profile**

Glance is looking for a Creative Video Programmer & Editor in Indonesia. A Video Editor is a professional who is responsible for taking the raw footage shot by a film crew and director, then turning it into one cohesive video or film. The Video Editor must follow an outline and

script and any special instructions given about what should happen in each scene.

**Specific responsibilities**
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.

**Key Requirements**
- 2 to 3 years of experience with good network of relationships across the content industry in Indonesia
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
- Creative and analytical thinker, fast learner in a technology first environment
