The Senior Sales Manager serves a pivotal role in driving revenue and ensuring the hotel's success in the competitive luxury hospitality market. Their primary purpose is to develop and implement strategic sales plans, targeting high-end clientele and maximizing sales opportunities. By building strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, and other stakeholders, they generate new business leads and maintain existing client connections. They collaborate with various departments to align sales efforts, optimize revenue, and enhance guest experiences.
**Qualifications**
- Education: A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience in sales and marketing roles within the luxury hospitality industry. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, including several years in a managerial or leadership position, is required. Experience specifically within the luxury hotel sector and international chain operations is highly valued.
- Sales and Marketing Skills: A strong foundation in sales and marketing strategies, techniques, and processes is necessary. The Senior Sales Manager should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and developing successful sales strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required to effectively engage with clients and close deals.
- Luxury Hospitality Experience: Prior experience working in luxury hotels or resorts is highly desired. Familiarity with the unique demands and expectations of the luxury segment, including an understanding of high-end clientele, luxury service standards, and personalized guest experiences, is important.
