We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team for a data centre project in Batam, Indonesia. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the financial operations of the project. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Indonesian accounting principles.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Preparation and submission of tax filings and documents
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with global Finance teams to align local practices with corporate standards.
- Research, document and share best practice, sharing knowledge with the Global team to support future projects.
- Support the wider regional and global teams with any ad-hoc tasks and administration duties as required.
- Flexibility to attend meetings outside of normal working hours to support global operations.
- Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
- Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company, and group policies and procedures.

**Qualifications: Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations within Indonesia.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, good written and spoken English language preferable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
