Identify potential prospects and generate sales leads to expand the customer base.
- Utilize market research and analysis to predict sales trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with clients.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, resolving any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Diploma or equivalent in a related field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or similar).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in sales within the chemical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial chemicals, including Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Hydrosulphite, Soda Ash, Sodium Nitrite, Caustic Soda Flakes, Sodium Sulphide Flakes, Sodium Metabisulphite, or similar products.
- Proven sales track record, with a strong ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Existing database of customers and potential leads in the chemical industry will be highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to various provinces and cities to meet customers and attend industry events.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
