**About this role**
The BD & Bid Consultant provides professional input into Arup’s regional work winning activities in the coordination of pursuits, bids and pitches. This position will be based in Jakarta office and be part of a wider Go to Market team spanning Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore. You will need to coordinate as a support to pursuits and bids as part of the proposal teams and support the client-specific Business Development activities.

**What will I do?**
- Support multiple tenders’ processes of varying scale and complexity which include bid scheduling, compliance, document production as well as scheduling compilation, contributing to sophisticated, consistent, and highly focused bids and offers.
- Support bespoke client offerings, including pitch presentations and other unsolicited material.
- To liaise with the key personnel of the business to ensure information is delivered in time to meet internal and external (client) deadlines and priorities.
- To gain an understanding of the local industry, markets, clients and competitors including Arup-specific value propositions and opportunity-specific win strategies
- Proactively participate in an environment of learning and improvement among bidding and BD cohort.

**What will I bring?**
- Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline with at least 4 years of Bidding track record including scheduling and production
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM System knowledge
- Internal influencing and relationship building skills.
- Strategic Business Focus with good planning skills to deliver
- Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Word (Advanced), Excel (Basic - Intermediate), PowerPoint (Advanced), SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
